Shaun Patrick Meadows passed away at home on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the age of 46 following a sudden illness.

Born on December 21, 1977 in Hinton, WV, he was the son of Phillip Meadows and stepson of Debbie Meadows of Hilldale, WV and Cheryl Lynn Blake of Tallassee, Alabama.

Shaun was a 1996 graduate of Summers County High School and a lifelong resident of Summers County. He was employed by Big Bend Public Service District for the last 16 years.  Shaun enjoyed golfing, cooking, and fishing.  He was an avid gardener, especially when it came to growing tomatoes. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Shaun was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nannie Ardella Meadows, maternal grandparents, Mark and Betty Blake, and uncles, Terry Meadows and George Kinder.

Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Crystal Leigh Ford Meadows of Hinton, WV; grandfather, Sonny Meadows of Beckley, WV; mother-in-law, Jennifer Rookstool of Hinton, WV; sister, Megan Meadows of Hilldale, WV; nephew, Jasper Kidd of Hilldale, WV;  aunts, Kendra Meadows, Marcy Kinder, Dyneal Garten (Jeff), Lagaye Basham (Scott), Janie Bailey (Bill), and Mary Ann Blankenship (Mike); stepbrother, Rodney Bower; stepsister, Christin Adkins (Brad); close friend, Mike Smith of Hilldale, WV.

Memorial services to celebrate Shaun's life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Graham House at Lowell.  A private interment will be at Oak Grove cemetery in Ballengee.
