Shelba Jean Fox, 83 of Sandstone, went home to be with the Lord Thursday October 3, 2024 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Fairlea following a long illness.

Born December 3, 1940 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Kathleen Smith Bowles.

Shelba was a wonderful homemaker and was a faithful member of Ramp Holiness Church at Ramp, WV. She loved attending and singing in church and was a committed Christian for many years. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde P. Fox; one son, Clyde Dwayne Fox and a sister, Josephine Bowles.

Left to cherish her memory are a son, David Wayne Fox and wife Connie of Green Sulphur Springs, WV; two grandsons, five great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday October 7, 2024 at the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. There will be no visitation. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery on Monday.
