Connard Sherman Bolling, 73 of Hilldale, passed away Wednesday June 3 ^rd , 2020 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a long illness.

Born April 6, 1947 in Raleigh County, he was the son of the late Nathan and June Bragg Bolling.

Sherman was a graduate of Hinton High School and was retired as manager of Fisher Auto Parts in Hinton for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying farming, gardening, hunting and 4-wheeling. His greatest love was spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. Sherman was a lifelong resident of Raleigh and Summers County and was a member of the US Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sawer Darling Bolling and two brothers, Ron and Ray Bolling.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Ann Lowe Bolling; two daughters, Robin Bolling and Wendy Bolling (Thomas Gore), both of Hilldale; one sister, Joann Kuntz & husband Tom of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Chelsea Danielle Mann of Raleigh, NC and Connar Thomas Gore of Hilldale; special friends, Thomas Sea and Edward Adkins also survive.

Memorial services to celebrate Sherman's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 6, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Gary Trout officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday. Interment will be in the Bolling Cemetery on Freezeland Mountain at a later date.
