Sidney Gavin Frost, 85 of 1008 Summers St. Hinton died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday September 11, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston.

Born November 20, 1930 in Staffordshire, England, he was the son of the late Sidney and Dorothy Phillips Frost.

Mr. Frost was received a Doctor of Science degree from King's College in London, England and was a retired project engineer for the aerospace industry. He had been a resident of Hinton for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Stone Wilson Frost; one daughter, A. Jocelyn B. Frost of Beckley and two grandsons, Lars W.C. Swanson and Daegen Loce Miller.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
