Stanley Ray
Eller
Jan 8, 1953 — Oct 8, 2020
Stanley Ray Eller is celebrating eternity with his Savior. He is finally home. He passed into his eternal home on Thursday, October 8, 2020, from his home in Talcott, West Virginia.
He was born January 8, 1953, in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of the late Oliver D and Virginia Ruth West Eller.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Chattin Eller, two daughters Amy Smith, and husband Nathan, and Lara Eller and boyfriend, Chip Jackson, and two grandchildren Emilee and Jacob Smith.
He is also survived by four siblings, one brother, Ron Eller and wife Jane, and three sisters, Paula Pander and husband Ray, Anita Pruett and husband Marc, and Ruth Eller and husband Greg. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Before he became ill, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He loved the country lifestyle and was a true cowboy. Prior to his retirement, Stan owned Eller's Custom Woodworking, and built beautiful cabinets for many local residents.
He attended Griffith Creek Baptist Church, and was a graduate of Talcott High School with the class of 1971.
The family will have a small, private service at Talcott Cemetery, with graveside rites only, and a closed casket. The graveside rite will be officiated by Stan's son-in-law, Pastor Nathan Smith.
