Stephen Lee Furrow, age 62, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 8, 2022, at his home.

Born August 23, 1959, in Hinton, he was the son of Betty Eloise Burdette Furrow and the late John W. Furrow.

He was a resident of Summers County, all of his life, and a graduate of Hinton High School with the class of 1977.

He was an employee of Summers County Hospital, Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, OH-9 Ambulance Service in Hinton, and Princeton, as an E.M.T. He worked several years in the Primary and General Elections as a Supply Clerk. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, where he was a former Trustee.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Delda D. Sims Furrow, Mother Eloise Furrow of Hinton, one daughter, Shanon furrow Swetavage (Steven) of Crystal River, Florida, and one son Christopher Furrow of Hinton. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and two Sisters-in-Law Freda Humphreys and Barbara Sims also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. till time of service.

Pallbearers will be Deacons and Trustees of Central Baptist Church.
