Stephen Lynn Hatcher, 67 of 601 Temple St. Hinton died Thursday December 30, 2021 at his home following a sudden illness.

Born July 28, 1954 in Hinton, he was the son of Nitz Fitzpatrick Hatcher Walker of Hinton and the late Willis Webster Hatcher.

Steve was a graduate of Hinton High School and was a retired mechanic, having worked for many years in the Washington, DC area.

He is survived by his mother, Nita and one brother, Dennis Hatcher of Hinton, along with an uncle and aunt and several cousins.

At Stephen's request, there will be no services at the funeral home
