Tablitha Dawn Prater, 32 of Talcott, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday February 19, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a short illness.

Born March 31, 1985 in Hinton, she was the daughter of Shirley Marie Carr of Talcott and the late Arthur Eugene Prater.

Tabitha was a former clerk at Dollar Tree and was of the Holiness faith.

Besides her mother, survivors include a daughter, Lillian Sears of Elk Knob and two sisters, Mary Ann Mike of Hilldale and Jennifer Michelle Bates of Talcott.

Pivont Funeral Home has provided cremation services and there will be no public service at this time.
