Teresa Gail "Teri" Clark, 66, of Hinton, passed away, Friday, March 6, 2020, at Bowers Hospice House, after a long illness.

She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, November 30, 1953.  She was the daughter of the late Richard and Virginia Fix Vaughn.

Teri spent 40 years in the service of our area, 10 years in weatherization, and was the Executive Director for the Summers County Solid Waste Authority for 28 years. She was also a former employee of Pipestem State Park.  She was an avid crafter, especially enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her partner John Strong Clark, a son Christopher Hatcher and fiancée Melanie Roberts, daughter, Virginia "Ginny" Hatcher-Coulter, and husband, Bryan Coulter, son Noah Strong Clark, all of Hinton, and six grandchildren, Alexis Dean, River Shane Malachi, Alesia Strong, Chloe Renee, Michael Gage, and Terra Raye.  Also surviving are five sisters, Becky Huffman and husband L. J. of St Augustine, Florida, Kitty Coleman and husband Joe, of Salem, Virginia, Andi Adkins, of Forest Hill, West Virginia, Cindy Vaughn, of Nimitz, West Virginia, and Tami Nutter and husband Ray, of St. Augustine, Florida, and two special family friends, Christina Gore, and David Williams. Her faithful companion, her dog, Bobway also survives.

At her request, her body was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church, Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
