Thomas W. Ayers, age 84, of Beech Run went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Summers Healthcare Center following a short illness.

Born on May 4, 1940 in Ramp, WV, he was the son of the late Willie and Lillie Cox Ayers.

Thomas was of the Holiness faith. He enjoyed fishing, trading, and going to the Flea Market. Thomas loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Patricia Lynn Grimmett.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Della Ayers; son Wayne Ayers and ex-daughter-in-law Lisa Ayers; granddaughters Tammy Cannon and companion Robby Cannon and Crystal Berry and companion Eric Richmond; great-granddaughters Savannah McCoy, Danielle and Abby Wingrove, and Haley Lynn Ayers; and friend Lisa Rose.

Cremation services have been provided by Pivont Funeral Home.  A ceremony celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Church of the Living God in Hinton, WV with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating.
