Thomas Russell Cheesebrough, 84 of Barger Springs, passed away Wednesday May 3, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a long illness.

Born April 14, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell and Zerald Mercer Cheesebrough.

Tom was a retired sales representative in wholesale brewing. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and of the Baptist faith. Tom loved the Greenbrier River and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Thompson Cheesebrough.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Russell Cheesebrough, II of Jackson, NJ; one brother, Donald Cheesebrough and wife Gerri of Lake Erie, PA; close friend, Jeannie Halloran of Barger Springs; two grandchildren, Kansas and Jessie and close dear friends, Tommy and Shirley Webb of Barger Springs and Louise Boggs of Lewisburg.
