Thomas Herbert "Tom" Dunn, 61 of Sandstone, died Tuesday April 26, 2016 at his home.

Born April 17, 1955 in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Nancy B. Issac Dunn.

Tom was a self-employed carpenter and also a former employee of Rent-Alls in Beckley. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved his family dearly especially his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Cox Dunn in 2012 and two brothers, Bob and Billy Dunn.

Survivors include two brothers, John Dunn and wife Jennifer of Beaver and Clark Dunn and wife Kathy of Meadow Creek; six sisters, Betty Vandall of Sandstone, Sue Smith and husband John of Meadow Creek, Barbara Dunn of Sandstone, Linda Dunn of Princeton, Mary Case and husband Charles of Sandstone and Cathi Hunter of Bellevue, OH. Thirteen nephews and seventeen nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 29, 2016 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Rev. Shirley Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Jay Cemetery at Beaver. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
