Thomas K. Williams, 85, of Beckley, passed away at his home, on Monday, February 11, 2019, following a sudden illness.

Born March 16, 1933, at Tunnelton, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Edith Bailey Williams.

Mr. Williams was a graduate of Tunnelton High School, and was retired from the WV State Police where he served from 1956 to 1986.  He also served with the U.S. Marshal Service from 1986 until 2003.  He was a member of the Methodist Temple of Beckley, and also a U. S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War era.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Romanello Williams, in 2014, and a son Thomas Gregory Williams, and two brothers Francis Williams, and Foster Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory is his son, Eric Williams of Beaver, and a daughter Melinda Adams and husband Chuck of Kenova, WV.  Two brothers, Charles L. Williams, Jr., of Sarasota, FL, and Robert E. (Bob) Williams, of Tunnelton, and nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at Pivont Funeral Chapel, in Hinton, with Pastor Steve Hamrick officiating.  Entombment will follow at the Family Mausoleum at Upland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the funeral home.

Members of the West Virginia State Police will serve as pallbearers.
