Tony Allen Smith, 60 of 117 4th Ave. Hinton, died Monday November 16, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Born September 10, 1955 in Fayette County, he was the son of Rose McClung Smith of Rainelle and the late Charles Smith. Mr. Smith was a carpenter for MountainPlex Properties in Hinton and was of the Baptist faith. He was a helpful friend to all who knew him and had been a resident of Hinton for several years. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Mike Smith and also by a sister, Lynn Smith. Besides his mother, survivors include his companion of 20 years, Kathy Burdette. Three brothers, Jerry Smith & wife Donna, Pete Smith & wife Sue and Mark Smith & wife Thelma. One sister, Debbie Hicks & husband C.J.. Special niece, Tonya Hicks along with several nieces and nephews also surviving. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 19, 2015 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be; Chris Blankenship, Amos Hicks, Brad Kirkham, Daniel Gill, Justin Mattis and Ken Howell.
