Verol Thomas Rudisill, 59, of Hilldale, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Summers County ARH hospital, after a short illness.

Born January 12, 1960 at Hinton, he was the son of the late Ray K. and Marlene A. Jones Rudisill.

He was a graduate of Talcott High School with the class of1979, and a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, at Hilldale, and he was a veteran of the United States Army, a former CNA at Summers County Hospital, and former truck driver.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Rudisill.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Amanda Rudisill of  Charleston, and his brother, Nolan Rudisill and wife Gloria, of Hampton, Virginia, and an adopted brother, Donald Richmond of Hinton, and also his four legged friend, Bernie.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Pivont Funeral Chapel in Hinton, with Pastor Eugene Fullen officiating.  This will be a joint service with his father, Ray K. Rudisill, who also passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, at Forest Hill.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
