Wanda J. Lively, 87, of Warner Robins, GA formerly of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 12, 2018 following a long illness.

Born June 1, 1930 in Hinton, West Virginia, Wanda was the daughter of the late Benjamin F and Olga "Ollie" Goff. She was a longtime resident of Summers County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hinton. Wanda worked as a nurse at Hinton Hospital and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Halstead Care Home for many years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren and served as the center of any and all social circles she was part of in her many travels. Wanda enjoyed living in a diverse number of locations including Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and her beloved Mountain State.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Billy Joe Lively, in 1987. After the passing of her husband, Wanda enjoyed a loving relationship with the late George Butts of Bellepoint for over 15 years.

Wanda is survived by: one sister, Reva King of Hinton, WV; two sons, Gregory Joe Lively and Luke Lively; five grandchildren, Lakyn, Kyle, Sarah, Bailey, Derek; eight great grandchildren, Adyson, Faith, Samuel, Noah, Willow, Meadow, Courtney and Conner. The incredible wide circle of dear friends and family includes a special friend Mercedes "Sadie" Labato and the residents of Church Home and Lifespring Rehabilitation Center, Fort Valley, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, May 17th at the Pivont Funeral Home, with Pastor Ronnie Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Burial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16th at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
