Obituary

Wesley Hayden Westfall, 90 of New River Road, Hinton died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Greystone Assisted Living in Beaver, WV.

Born November 5, 1925 in Raleigh County, he was the son of the late Wesley and Julia Bragg Westfall.

Buster was a retired conductor for the C&O Railway Company in Hinton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a lifelong resident of the Hinton area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Smith Westfall and two brothers, Bill and Charles Westfall.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Westfall and wife Pat of Beaver; two brothers, Jack Westfall and wife JoAnn of Chester, VA and Jim Westfall and wife Mildred of Austin, TX;two grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with a sister-in-law, Ethel Westfall of Hinton also survive.

Private graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 19, 2016 at Restwood Memorial Gardens with Jerry Smith officiating. There was no visitation.
