Pastor William Darrell Hamm Jr, 71 of Manheim, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025 after a long courageous battle with Cancer.

Junior loved his country and served as a senior airman during the Vietnam War. He had a deep love for the Lord and served as a pastor for 44 years in churches across West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

He was born on October 3, 1953, at Camp Pickett, Virginia, to the late William Darrell Hamm and Rosita Bercier Hamm.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lane Hamm; two children, Jason Hamm and his wife DeeAnn of Winchester, Virginia, and Joshua Hamm and his wife Elizabeth of Hubbard, Ohio; and four grandchildren: Taylor Hamm and his wife Megan of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Morgan Moore and her husband Joshua of Hedgesville, West Virginia, Charity Hamm, Logan Hamm, Joseph Hamm, and Mason Hamm. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Connor Hamm and Cirilla Hamm; three sisters, Tanya Cook and husband Argil of Buck, WV, Sandy Turner and husband Mitchell of Hinton, WV and Darlene Reed and husband Kenny of Bristol, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Bellepoint Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Trout, Pastor Larry Cochran, and his two sons, Jason Hamm and Joshua Hamm, officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of the service on Saturday at the Church. Burial will follow at Lilly-Crews Cemetery in Nimitz, West Virginia, with Pastor Junior Moye presiding.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
