Devon Shea Mann, 22 of Hilldale died Thursday September 7, 2006 in CAMC General Division in Charleston from injuries received in an automobile accident on Tuesday September 5, 2006.

Born July 27, 1984 in Summers County, he was the son of Dallas & Jeanette Chattin Mann of Hilldale.

Devon was a 2002 graduate of Summers County High School. He was active in football and baseball while in school and enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved hunting and fishing. Devon attended Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church at Hilldale. He was a lifelong resident of Summers County. Devon was talented in many ways.

Devon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ershal & Elizabeth Mann and maternal grandparents, E.L. "True" & Jean Chattin.

In addition to his parents, other survivors include three brothers, Chris & wife Roberta Mann of Talcott, Shawn Mann and fiancee Faye Johnston of Hilldale and Derek Mann of Hilldale. His loyal dog, Shaq also survives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 10, 2006 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Rev. Ken Stockwell & Rev. Sterling Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery at Hilldale. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Michael Plumley, Brandon Ellis, Robert Lane, Jared Conner, Richard Newsome, John Robert Ratliff, Drew Gill, Jeffrey Cyrus and Jared Meadows.
